Took 4 weeks off after the half marathon. The week before this I ran three times for 10 miles total, just testing my legs and seeing how I felt. I decided it was time to start training again, with the intent to try to pull it back together for the Austin Marathon 2/18.

I don't think I lost too much during my break - I was able to do basically the same workouts I did before my break in the same amount of time. I was probably working a little harder now though.

Next week I want to run 40+ miles, and after that sustain 50+ (and hopefully hit 60 or 70 once or twice) until the taper before the race. There's a few races before the marathon that I might run more as hard training runs than to race - a 20 miler 1/7 and a half marathon 1/28.
